The Jetaways was formed in 2009 by the bassist Mikael Letskog and his sons Hampus Letskog (Leadguitar) & Linus Letskog (Drums) together with Jan Östlund (Leadsinger, Rhythm Guitar). The Jetaways performes everything beetween 1956 style rockabilly to 1959 raw Rock ‘n’ roll.
The Jetaways is winners of the 2012 years swedish Rockabilly competition ‘ Rockabilly SM’. The band has won succes on the international scene on such events as Hemsby Rock ‘n’ roll Weekender (England) and coming up: Crazy driver Diner (ITALY) and Screamin’ Festival (SPAIN). They have since the summer of 2009 played about 100 gigs in both Sweden and other countrys, and they wont stop untill they blow their top!
